Thomas Cizmas, DE
Founder
Tom built Teko Mechanical from the ground up, drawing on a lifetime of experience in the HVAC industry. After more than 20 years as President, he retired in 2018, though he continues to stay involved behind the scenes. Now splitting his time between Florida and Wisconsin, Tom remains a valuable advisor to the team and a respected figure within the company.
Adam Miller, DE
Owner/President
Design Engineer / Project Manager / Estimator
Adam began his journey at Teko in 2004 and has steadily grown into his current leadership role. His deep industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and dedication to the company’s mission have made him an essential part of Teko’s success. As Owner and President, Adam guides the company with a focus on continuous improvement, strong relationships, and a commitment to excellence in all areas of service and operations.
Kurt Kochanski
Service Manager
With over 30 years in the HVACR industry, Kurt brings extensive technical expertise and leadership to Teko’s Service Department. He manages the Service Department and Controls Division, overseeing a range of responsibilities within each. Known for his professionalism and depth of knowledge, Kurt plays a key role in ensuring high standards across the company’s service offerings.
Bob Awadallah
Service Coordinator
Bob supports the service department through scheduling, coordination, and internal communications. He also assists with IT troubleshooting and various day-to-day operations within the company. His flexibility and ability to adapt make him a key part of the service team, contributing to smooth processes and strong team support.
Dale Peterson
HVAC Maintenance Coordinator
Dale joined Teko in 2023 after working with the team for years as a property manager. Now officially part of the company, he manages preventative maintenance contracts, fleet logistics, and shop coordination. Dale’s reliability, organization, and team-focused approach have made him a crucial part of the company’s operations.
Jennifer Tanking
Director of Finance & Benefits
Jen joined Teko in 2022 and quickly became instrumental in streamlining office operations. With over 14 years of experience in the business side of the trades industry, she oversees financial management, benefits administration, and a variety of internal processes. Her attention to detail and organizational skills make her an essential asset to the team.
Katy Miller
Accounting
With over a decade at Teko, Katy is a cornerstone of the administration. She is responsible for service billing, job costing, and expense tracking, consistently managing these responsibilities with accuracy and dedication. Her consistent performance and commitment to customer service make her a valued member of the team.
Sarah Grudnowski
Project/Office Assistant
Since joining in 2022, Sarah has provided essential support across various departments, especially in project administration and office coordination. Her efficiency, attention to detail, and ability to manage a broad range of tasks make her a crucial member of the Teko team, supporting both field operations and internal processes.
